Vincent Ndoumbe D
Vincent NDOUMBE DOUALLA (22 January 1953 – 9 December 2024) was living in Bonabéri, Douala. He was the director from 1988 to 1998, at the National Cameroon Television Network CRTV, of ACCORD MAJUSCULE, a topical cultural magazine, and a breeding ground for young artistic talent from here, there and everywhere. By creating JUST FOR FUN, from 1999 to 2002 on that State propaganda channel, this iconoclastic and provocative auteur showed that unmitigated self-mockery could be a social and popular weapon of wholesale criticism, precisely where freedom of expression was still being sought.
